Monument to the Pipila

Alhondiga de Granaditas
Stonework building being the scene of heroism of Pípila in the war of independence. Now it is a Regional Museum that exhibits bronze busts of the heroes of the independent movement. The entrance fee is $65 pesos and opens its doors from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This site is considered one of the most attractive in Mexico and recognized worldwide for its architecture which highlights its portico of Doric inspiration (long columns) Roman and European style rooms inside. The name was given in honor of Benito Juárez and has hosted the Cervantino International Festival.
Plaza de la Paz is also known as Plaza Mayor or Principal. For many years, the headquarters of the civil and ecclesiastical authorities of the then Real de Minas de Santa Fe de Guanajuato were located on this site, as well as the residences of opulent families.
The Plaza de la Paz is located on a sloping terrain, in the shape of a triangle, and was built in 1865. Garden of the Union Guanajuato; its shape is polygonal and it is located in the center of the old Plazuela de San Diego, whose land belonged to the disappeared atrium of the current temple of San Diego. Around 1861, with the triumph of the Liberals, it was called Union Garden.

Museum of the Mummies of Guanajuato

It is within the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of León. Throughout the year, different religious events are held, such as: The National Youth March, the National Three Kings Parade and the Feast of Christ the King of the Universe.
Bocamina San Ramón
Bocamina San Ramón is an old hacienda that in its environment you can relive the history that tells of the efforts made by all those miners who lived a hard life during the 16th to 18th centuries digging day by day to obtain metals such as gold and silver. It is a mine that had a depth of 350 meters, and it is here where the mother vein was discovered, so it was the trigger for other mines.
