Monument to the Pipila
Monument of great size that was built in commemoration of Juan José de los Reyes Martínez "El Pípila" for his heroic act, since for his courage the insurgent victory was achieved. Here you can see the city with a panoramic view, a viewpoint that you can not miss when you get to the city.

Alhondiga de Granaditas
Stonework building being the scene of heroism of Pípila in the war of independence. Now it is a Regional Museum that exhibits bronze busts of the heroes of the independent movement. In addition to other pre-Hispanic exhibits, the museum has rooms dedicated to the culture and history of Guanajuato. The entrance fee is $65 pesos and opens its doors from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Juarez Theater
This site is considered one of the most attractive in Mexico and recognized worldwide for its architecture which highlights its portico of Doric inspiration (long columns) Roman and European style rooms inside. The name was given in honor of Benito Juárez and has hosted the Cervantino International Festival.

Peace Square
Plaza de la Paz is also known as Plaza Mayor or Principal. For many years, the headquarters of the civil and ecclesiastical authorities of the then Real de Minas de Santa Fe de Guanajuato were located on this site, as well as the residences of opulent families.
The Plaza de la Paz is located on a sloping terrain, in the shape of a triangle, and was built in 1865. In its center stands out, on a green quarry pedestal, the statue of La Paz, unveiled by President Porfirio Díaz in 1903. Among the buildings that are around the Plaza de la Paz, the Collegiate Basilica of Our Lady of Guanajuato, the Municipal Palace, the Legislative Palace, the Otero Palace and the House of the Pérez Gálvez stand out.

Union Garden
Garden of the Union Guanajuato; its shape is polygonal and it is located in the center of the old Plazuela de San Diego, whose land belonged to the disappeared atrium of the current temple of San Diego. Around 1861, with the triumph of the Liberals, it was called Union Garden.

University of Guanajuato

Museum of the Mummies of Guanajuato

Bocamina San Ramón
Bocamina San Ramón is an old hacienda that in its environment you can relive the history that tells of the efforts made by all those miners who lived a hard life during the 16th to 18th centuries digging day by day to obtain metals such as gold and silver.
